The emergence of General Muhamad Buhari as APC presidential candidate

General Muhamad Buhari emerged the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) at the primary election that took place at the Teslim Balogun Stadium Surulere, Lagos.

His emergence was by no mean an easy one as the election was keenly contested for by four other cadidates. The cadidates were former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Governor Rochas Okorocha, Governor Rabiu Kwuakwanzo, and Sam Nda-Isiah

The emergence of the Buhari has been anticipated for quite some time because he remained the only credible candidate that can make a big change to the present situation of the country.

General Muhammad Buhari was the Nigerian Head of State between 1983 and 1985 when he brought sanity into Nigeria by the enforcement of discipline through the War Against Indiscipline. During the period, he fought against corruption to the best of his ability

During this democratic dispensation he has contested for the presidency three times and lost but he was not deterred as he continued to present himself for election.

No doubt the emergence at the primary election has put hope on many Nigerians as Buhari is seen as the person who can change the decadent situation and insecurity of life and property prevalent in the country.

2015 general election is definitely going to be an interesting one.
